She is 'a mother and a fisherman's wife'. I think her husband is a particularly good fisherman, providing the table with an abundant catch, as she says they eat beautiful fresh fish 4-5 nights a week. Her lovely recipes are enjoyed by family and friends and include breakfast and brunch, soups, light bites, seafood pasta, weeknight meals, cooking on the 'barbie, boat or beach', Asian influenced dishes, and picnic fare. Loved the fish tacos and the leek and fish pie!
Rachel McGlashan is used to cooking outdoors and anywhere - wherever her husband Alistair is out for a catch. Chapters include Light Bites, a special section called Barbie, Boat or Beach, and Fishy Fun and Picnics. Rachel is a real fisherman's wife. Every night her husband, Al McGlashan, brings home fish, and more fish, for her to cook for the family. She fishes with him too, and so they eat fish five nights a week. Rachel has created a sumptuous menu for every night using the freshest seafood. All types of meals are covered in this stunningly photographed book.
