I shall have to send him this, which will take him seriously and beautifully through the ancient ceremony. (It's a glass anyhow.) It is a lovely celebration of ancient and modern and is illustrated with brilliantly illuminated manuscripts from the British Library. It is the perfect guide and memento of a most sacred and joyful occasion.
Explains the history behind the rituals and customs of a Jewish wedding, details the ceremony and wedding service, and suggests appropriate readings and meditations.
